Gay Definition: A person who identifies as homosexualComing out as Gay can be attached to anyone of any gender. But most commonly used towards the male gay community, being gay is simply stating that you’re not straight. The term “gay” is often used to describe something negative e.g. “That’s so gay” which has resulted in many LGBTQ+ members believe being gay is a negative.
